INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS UPON REOPENING
Soft tissue therapists are now able to return to work but there will be some changes to how your appointment will proceed in order to continue to prevent the of infection. I list below some of the changes you can expect:
If you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms please cancel or postpone your appointment. I will be taking your temperature on arrival and there will be a consent form to complete regarding your exposure to Covid-19. If you are considered a high risk client it may not be possible to massage you at this time but please feel free to discuss this with me.
If you are first time client then your initial consultation will take place via telephone, videoconferencing or email rather than at your appointment. If you are an existing client a short update consultation will take place via phone, videoconferencing or email to discuss your needs and any Covid-19 issues. All consultation and consent documents should be signed and brought with you to your appointment or emailed beforehand.
Please bring your own pen and water as I can no longer provide these.
If you have your own face mask please wear this but if you don’t I will provide you with one.
Please wear clothing that is easy to remove and avoid wearing jewellery.
Upon arrival please leave outdoor shoes inside my front porch and use the hand sanitiser located there to sterilise your hands.
In the treatment room there will a container in which to place your clothing when you undress.
The treatment room will have been thoroughly disinfected and all linen and face cradles replaced for each client.
I will be wearing PPE which includes a mask. gloves, and apron. Do not be concerned about the use of gloves, it will not affect your massage.
The massage will continue as normal although unnecessary chatting will be limited to avoid droplet formation.
When the massage is over please leave all linens untouched on the couch.
Please sterilise your hands using the hand sanitiser located on the wall in the treatment room and try not to touch anything as you leave.
Please leave your mask on until you have left the premises.
